HEARINGS
A hearing was conducted to consider the appeal of Edward Childress, an IHSAA official.  Edward’s IHSAA official license had been suspended on the basis of Rule 14.  A hearing was requested in order to appeal the ruling to reinstate his license.  Having analyzed all of the available data, the IHSAA Review Committee voted to uphold the decision of the Commissioner. 

A hearing was conducted to consider the appeal of Yuri Leath, a student at Herron High School.  Yuri had been declared to have limited eligibility on the basis of Rule 19-6.2.  A hearing was requested in order to appeal the ruling and obtain full eligibility.  Following the hearing the student’s family and legal counsel for the IHSAA were offered an opportunity to submit findings of fact.  Having analyzed all of the available data, the IHSAA Review Committee voted to uphold the decision of the Commissioner.

A hearing was conducted to consider the appeal of Kendall Thompson, a student at Charlestown High School.  Kendall had been declared to have limited eligibility on the basis of Rule 19-6.2.  A hearing was requested in order to appeal the ruling and obtain full eligibility.  Following the hearing the student’s family and legal counsel for the IHSAA were offered an opportunity to submit findings of fact.  Having analyzed all of the available data, the IHSAA Review Committee voted to uphold the decision of the Commissioner.

A hearing was conducted to consider the appeal of Chandler Thomas, a student at Indianapolis Cathedral High School.  Chandler had been declared to be ineligible on the basis of Rule 19-4.  A hearing was requested in order to appeal the ruling and obtain full eligibility.  Following the hearing the legal counsel for the student’s family and for the IHSAA were offered an opportunity to submit findings of fact.  Having analyzed all of the available data, the IHSAA Review Committee voted to uphold the decision of the Commissioner.
